The higher education scholarship awarded by the Bangladesh National Social Welfare Council and the certificate distribution ceremony for skill development training funded by the National Human Resource Development Fund were held on July 20, 2026, at the DISA Training Center (DTC) in Mirpur-12, Dhaka.

Ms. Ayesha Akhtar, Director (Joint Secretary) of the Divisional Social Services Office, Dhaka, attended the event as the chief guest. Md. Kamal Hossain, Deputy Director (Registration and Control) of the Department of Social Services, was present as a special guest. The event was presided over by Md. Sahid Ullah, Founder and Chief Executive of DISA. Also present from DISA were Mr. AGM Badruzzaman, Consultant (Administration); Md. Mazharul Islam, Coordinator (Training and Program Development); Md. Rakibul Hasan, Manager, Aloghor; along with senior DISA officials, students, trainees, and invited guests.

During the ceremony, higher education scholarships were presented to 20 meritorious students. Certificates were also distributed to 48 trainees who successfully completed the Plumbing & Pipe Fitting (24 person) and Oven Sewing Machine Operation (24 person) courses conducted by the DISA Institute of Science and Technology (DIST). Additionally, an introductory session was held for 5 new trainees participating in the ongoing training program funded by the Bangladesh National Social Welfare Council.
